In an exciting new documentary series titled "Starting 5," basketball icons LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum, and Anthony Edwards offer a rare behind-the-scenes look at their lives throughout the 2023-2024 NBA season. Premiering on Netflix on October 9, the series provides an intimate glimpse into the personal and professional journeys of some of the league’s top players.
The five stars graced the red carpet in Los Angeles on Monday night, celebrating the series launch just before the start of the new NBA season.
Just weeks prior, James, Tatum, and Edwards secured a gold medal for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, adding to their impressive resumes. Despite this achievement, Tatum, a Boston Celtics forward, says his approach to the upcoming NBA season remains focused.
"Winning the championship in June doesn’t change how I approach this season. It’s an honor to have the target on your back, but we’re not defending the title — we’re hunting for another one,"
Tatum explained.
